In 2005, we celebrated 25 years of Headlines hairdressing at a glittering summer ball at Billericay’s Stockbrook Manor. Since helping our first ever client back in 1980, we now employ over 100 staff at four prestigious salon locations — Billericay, Wickford, Shenfield and Rayleigh. We see in excess of 1600 clients a week, including over 750 colour applications. And above all, we have gained a reputation for top quality, creative work backed by brilliant customer service.
You don’t get to that position in our business without great people, and the Headlines team is award-winning in every way. How? Because we take training very seriously. In fact, it forms the backbone of everything we do, covering not just hairdressing skills, but customer service and even lifestyle choices.
Headlines was one of the first salon groups in the UK to gain Investor in People status, back in 1995, and we renewed it recently. In 2005, we also became the first UK salon to gain the new IiP Leadership & Management Award.
